ORLANDO, Fla. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team edged Quincy, 4-3 in nonconference action Tuesday in Orlando, Fla.
MSUM, which won its second straight match, is now 2-7 on the season while Quincy fell to 4-5.
MSUM won the doubles point, thanks to victories at No. 2 and No. 3. Senior

Tia Dykema topped Haley Milazzo/Emily Klinner, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles for MSUM while sophomore
Madison Bell and freshman
Greta Reichmann teamed up for a 6-1 win over Nora Hennessy and Emily Klinner at No. 3.
The Dragons came up big in the final three singles slots to record the win. Dykema topped Paula Martinez, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 while Bell defeated Hennessy, 6-1, 6-4.
Freshman
Valerie Gall, making her first start of the season, prevailed 6-0, 6-2 over Klinner at No. 6 singles for the Dragons.
"The bottom part of the lineup came up big as we won the bottom two doubles matches(to take the doubles point) and the bottom three singles matches to clinch the match," MSUM head coach
Jason Thiner said.
MSUM will face Stevenson on Wednesday in Orlando.
