MOORHEAD -- The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team will travel to Bismarck, N.D. to compete against a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foes this weekend. The Dragons will face Southwest Minnesota State at 5 p.m. on Saturday and Minnesota State Mankato at 9 a.m. on Sunday at Capital Racquet and Fitness Center.
The Dragons are 4-9 on the season and 0-7 in the NSIC after losing to UMary, 5-2, last week.
Sophomore Madison Bell and freshman Tia Dykema have the best singles record on the team at 7-6 each. Bell is currently on a 2-match win streak, which is a team-best. Senior Mikaela Griechen and Madison Bell have the best doubles record for the Dragons at 6-7.
Jason Thiner is in his second season as the head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Mustangs are 12-10 on the season and 4-3 in the NSIC after defeating Minnesota State Mankato and falling to Gustavus last weekend. Sophomore Daniela Poulakidas holds the best singles record for the Mustangs at 10-6, followed by Senior Cora Delich with a singles record of 12-13. Cora Delich and Freshman Roz Oye hold the best doubles record at 12-10. Jon Parker is in his third season as head coach at Southwest Minnesota State University.

The Mavericks are 11-9 on the season and 4-3 in the NSIC after falling to both Gustavus and Southwest Minnesota State last weekend. Junior Tristen Bryant-Otake holds the best singles record for the Mavericks at 15-4, followed by Freshman Elizabeth Feldermen with a record of 13-7. Tristen Bryant-Otake and Freshman Avery Stillwell have the best doubles record on the team at 13-3. Ryan Kucera is in his first season as head coach at Minnesota State Mankato.
