NEW ORLEANS – Three members of the Minnesota State University Moorhead men's track and field team have earned All-Region honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, it was announced on Tuesday.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams.
Sophomore
Travis Joseph earned the honor in the high jump. He is a national qualifier in that event and he won the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference title in that event in late February.
Junior
Shyrone Kemp earned the honor in the triple jump. He is also a national qualifier in that event and won the NSIC title. He set a new school record of 51-9 in the event earlier this season.
Senior
Nadir Yusuf earned the honor in the 5,000 meters; he won the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference title in that event in late February.
