FARGO, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team was edged by Bemidji State, 4-3 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Sunday at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D.
MSUM finished the year at 5-12 overall and 1-10 in the NSIC while Bemidji State improved to 4-8 overall and 4-7 in the league.

Bemidji State won the team doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Freshmen
Greta Reichmann and
Tia Dykema won at No. 3 doubles for MSUM, beating Isabela Nelson and Lexi Leitner 6-3.
MSUM won three singles matches. Dykema beat Laney Rutkowski, 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 while sophomore
Madison Bell beat Nelson, 6-3, 6-4 at No. 5. Reichmann beat Lily Jones, 7-6, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.

"We competed very well today," MSUM head coach
Jason Thiner said. "Our three seniors all competed very well in the final match of their careers. They will be missed next year."
