ASUZA, Calif. – Minnesota State University Moorhead sophomore
Adnew Stueven set a new school record in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase in action at the Bryan Clay Invitational Wednesday night in Azusa, Calif.
Stueven ran a time of 9:00.64 to set a new school record in the event. The previous school record of 9:06.18 set by Roger Thelen in 1988.
Stueven finished 21st against a field of several Division I runners. His time ranks ninth-best in the nation as of this writing and best in the NSIC this season.
Payton Lane,
Braxton Bruer and
Nadir Yusuf will run on Thursday in California. Lane will run the 10,000 meters at Bryan Clay while Bruer will run the 800 at the event. Yusuf will run in the 10,000 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays.
