LONG BEACH, Calif. – High jumpers
Rachel Schumacher and
Caitlin Pritchett recorded season-bests to lead the Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field teams at the Long Beach State Invitational on Saturday in Long Beach, Minn.
Schumacher, a senior, jumped a season-best of 5-5 1/4 to finished tied for 11th in the high jump. Pritchett, a junior, also jumped a season-best of 5-3 1/4 to tie for 22nd. Both finished ahead of several Division I competitors.
Senior
Chris Cook jumped a 6-7 in the men's high jump and finished tied for 13th.
Junior
Ty Dawkins finished 15th in the 400 at 48.69 while
Ibrahim Oduong finished 19th in 48.91.
Sophomore
Ashley Hokanson recorded a height of 12-4 in the women's pole vault.
Freshman
Elliott MacLennan ran a 22.10 in the men's 200 to finish 29th out of 55 runners.
MSUM's next scheduled competition is at the Concordia-St. Paul Holst Invitational.
