BISMARCK, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team fell to Southwest Minnesota State, 7-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Saturday in Bismarck, N.D.
MSUM fell to 4-10 overall and 0-8 in the NSIC with the loss while SMSU improved to 5-3 in the league.
"We came out a little sluggish today, and that cost us," MSUM head coach
Jason Thiner said. "We're looking to rebound with more energy on Sunday morning."
The Mustangs won the team doubles point, sweeping all three matches, and won all but one singles match in straight sets.

Tia Dykema battled Maja Louisa Harck to three sets at No. 4 singles but fell 3-6, 6-0, 6-2.
MSUM will face Minnesota State at 9 a.m. on Sunday in Bismarck.
