BISMARCK, N.D. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team capped off the weekend with a 6-1 loss to Minnesota State, Mankato in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Sunday in Bismarck, N.D.
MSUM fell to 4-11 overall and 0-9 in the NSIC while MSU is now 6-3 in the league.
"We brought much better energy today and it showed in our competitiveness throughout the lineup," MSUM head coach

Tia Dykema showed particular mental toughness through some adversity in her singles match."
Minnesota State won the team doubles point, although senior

Tia Dykema picked up a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles for the Dragons.
Dykema also earned a singles win at NO.4 with a hard-fought 7-5, 7-6 win over Hana Minisy.
MSUM wraps up the season at home next weekend, starting with a match against Minnesota Crookston on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D.
