ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead softball team was swept by first-place St. Cloud State in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader on Thursday. The Huskies prevailed by scores of 12-0 and 10-0.

Evey Evans had hits for the Dragons.
Freshman
Emma Abbott took the loss, giving up four runs, two earned, in three-plus innings. Evans finished and gave up eight runs, only three earned, in three innings.
Errors were costly for MSUM in the opener as the Dragons committed four, leading to seven unearned runs for the Huskies.

Jordey Smith and freshman second baseman
Hannah Losee each went 2-for-3.
Sophomore
Reece Dahl took the loss, giving up seven earned runs in two innings. She struck out two. Senior
Anna Lang gave up three earned runs in three innings, striking out three.
MSUM plays at Sioux Falls for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
