MOORHEAD, Minn. – Four members of the Minnesota State University Moorhead track and field program are headed to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which will be held on May 26-28 in Allendale, Mich., on the campus of Grand Valley State University.
Senior
Nadir Yusuf qualified in the men's 10,000-meter run, and will compete at 7:10 p.m. Central time on Thursday, May 26. Yusuf has the eighth-best time heading into the 10,000-meter run.
Senior
Chris Cook qualified in the men's high jump and is tied for the 10th-best jump at 6-11 1/2. Cook, a four-time All-American, will compete at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 27.
Junior
Shyrone Kemp qualified in the triple jump with the fourth-best jump of 51-8 1/4. He will compete on 11:45 on Saturday, May 28. Kemp was national runner up indoors in the triple jump.
Sophomore
Ashley Hokanson qualified in the women's pole vault and has the 10
th-best vault of 13-3. She will compete at 11:30 on Saturday, May 28.
