ALLENDALE, Mich. – Minnesota State University Moorhead senior
Chris Cook finished 15th in the high jump at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday in Allendale, Mich.
Cook's top height cleared was 6-9 1/2. He cleared 6-7 1/2 on his final try and then cleared 6-9 1/2 on his final attempt. But he was unable to clear 6-10 3/4 in three attempts.
Cook wrapped up a stellar Dragon career with the national trip. The Minneapolis native earned four All-American honors in the high jump, shares the indoor school record with teammate
Travis Joseph, won four Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference titles and recorded six All-NSIC honors.
On Saturday, junior
Shyrone Kemp will compete in the men's triple jump while sophomore
Ashley Hokanson will compete in the women's pole vault to represent the Dragons.
