MOORHEAD — The Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team was swept by Concordia-St. Paul, 25-13, 25-22, 25-7 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action Saturday in Moorhead, Minn.
MSUM fell to 5-9 overall and 2-4 in the NSIC while Concordia-St. Paul improved to 12-2 overall and 5-1 in the league.
Facing their third top 10-ranked opponent in four matches, the Dragon offense struggled, hitting .-020 compared to .324 for the Golden Bears.
Freshman setter Emily Skalicky had 16 assists and eight digs while junior outside hitter Bridget Witzmann had four kills and 10 digs.
Junior right-side hitter Teeya Doppler had five kills while Witzmann and sophomore outside hitter Jadyn Feist had four each.
Freshman libero Macie Wieman had eight digs while Feist had two block assists.
The Dragons are on the road next week, starting Friday at Winona State.
