MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead men's basketball moved up three spots in the weekly NABC Coaches' Poll as the Dragons are now listed as the number two team in the country.
Defending national champion Nova Southeastern topped the poll once again with 400 points. MSUM came in second, garnering 376 points in the weekly poll as fellow NSIC member school Minnesota State is now ranked behind the Dragons with 369 points. The shift occurs following losses from perennial powers West Liberty and Central Oklahoma last week.
Other NSIC teams in the poll this week include Minnesota Duluth (21) and Winona State (24).
The Dragons are coming off wins over Bemidji State and St. Cloud State a week ago. MSUM takes on Minnesota Crookston on Thursday and Minot State on Saturday in a pair of NSIC road games.
