NEW ORLEANS, La. -- MSU Moorhead track & field did not move from their respective spots in the latest USTFCCCA Regional Rankings. The Dragon women remain in 17th while the men are ranked 10th in the Central Region.
The women pulled in 45.03 points in the rankings with the men garnering 97.21 points. In the national polls, the Dragon women dropped from the top-25, ranking 30th in this week's poll. On the men's side, the Dragons jumped up eight spots to the number 27 ranking.
MSUM was led by another record-breaking performance from
Ashley Hokanson last weekend. The sophomore rebroke her own pole vault record by three inches and possesses the top vault in Division II this season (13'-09.5").
Jared Gregoire broke the MSUM indoor 800m record, besting the time set by
Braxton Bruer earlier this season. Gregoire was named NSIC Track Athlete of the Week while
Shyrone Kemp was tabbed as the conference's Field Athlete of the Week.
The Dragons compete at the UND Tune-Up this Saturday with events beginning at 11 a.m.
