INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- MSU Moorhead has been listed in the initial NCAA Division II Central Region Rankings. In the first regional rankings of the season, teams were listed as "under consideration" in alphabetical order. In total, there will be three editions of regional rankings.

Minnesota Duluth, Northern State and Sioux Falls are also listed in the first regional rankings of the season. The Dragons are 20-6 this season with an 18-6 record against teams inside the Central Region.

MSUM is on the road to play Minot State on Thursday before hosting UMary on Saturday to wrap up the 2022-23 regular season before the NSIC/Sanford Health  Conference Tournament February 22 (first round)-28. The NCAA Men's Basketball Selection Show is scheduled for March 5 with NCAA Regionals taking place March 11-14. The NCAA Division II Elite Eight will be held March 21-25 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind.
