IRVINE, Calif. -- MSUM tennis opened their Spring Break trip with a loss to Concordia University Irvine in Irvine, Calif. The Eagles shut out the Dragons 7-0 to win their fourth consecutive match.
Concordia would command the entire match, earning the doubles point by sweeping all three matches.
Shaelyn Johnson and
Tia Dykema would come closest to a victory, falling 6-2 to Alyssa Zayat and Alicia Da Re.
In singles action, the same story could be told as Concordia took all seven matches. Johnson,
Tiannah Gu and
Claire Nemmers all battled, but would eventually fall in straight sets.Â
