MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The MSU Moorhead tennis team will travel to St. Peter, Minn., to compete against Minnesota State Mankato at 8 p.m. on Friday, then face off against Southwest Minnesota State University at 11 a.m. on Saturday this weekend.
The Dragons are 5-7 in the dual season and 1-4 against NSIC opponents after falling to Augustana University and the University of Sioux Falls last weekend. Freshman
Tiannah Gu holds the best record for the Dragons at 8-4. Junior
Madison Bell has a dual record of 6-6. Junior
Shaelyn Johnson has a dual record of 6-4. Johnson and sophomore
Tia Dykema hold the best doubles record for the Dragons at 5-3.
Alexis Konecne is in her first season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

The Mavericks are 6-1 in the dual season and 3-1 against NSIC opponents after defeating Winona State and Upper Iowa last weekend. Freshmen McKenna DeMarce and Daria Podmogilaia hold the best record for the Mavericks at 5-1 respectively. Graduate student Lois Page and sophomore Freia Lawrence each have a 4-1 record. Jeffrey Thomae is in his first season as head coach at Minnesota State Mankato.
