MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead men's basketball has netted its third Division I transfer of the summer in Cleveland State's Jamir Price. Price will join MSUM ahead of the 2023-24 season. 

Price spent last season playing for NCAA Division I school Cleveland State where he saw action in 25 games in 2022-23. Prior to that, Price had a stellar career as a junior college player at Mineral Area College (Park Hills, Mo.) for two seasons. He averaged 13.9 points per game for the Cardinals in 2021-22 before transferring to Cleveland State.

Played the 2022-23 season as a member of the NCAA Division I school Cleveland State, seeing action in 25 games and scoring 30 total points...scored a Cleveland State high of eight points against Baldwin Wallace on November 3...had spent the prior two seasons at NJCAA school Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Mo., scoring 13.9 points per game in 31 games played in 2021-22 while shooting 53.3 percent from the floor for the Cardinals, helping lead Mineral Area to an NJCAA Region 16 regular season championship...played in 16 games as a freshamn for the Cardinals in 2020-21, averaging 8.4 points per game on 42.5 percent shooting...played his prep career at Rock Island High School.
