SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – MSU Moorhead soccer would put six shots on goal throughout a 90 minute battle with Sioux Falls on Friday afternoon, but neither team would notch a game-winning goal. The Dragons and Cougars played to a scoreless tie on Bob Young Field. 
 
MSU Moorhead would put three shots on net in the first 45 minutes with the Dragons best chance coming on a freekick strike from 
Mason Kimble. The shot had the power and velocity to make it past the Cougar keeper, but bounced off the left post and away from net. 
Madeline Etter would get another shot for the Dragons in the 22
nd minute which was saved. 
Brooklyn Broderick would have the last shot on goal for MSUM in the first half with a 28
th minute strike that was saved. 
 
On the other end, Sioux Falls would register four total shots in the half with just a pair making it to keeper 
Simone Lewald. The senior saved both shots to gain a first half clean sheet. Neither team would find the net in the first half as the teams would enter the locker room scoreless. 
 
MSUM would remain on the offensive in the second half with 
Brooklyn Broderick and 
Madeline Etter getting shots on net within the first 15 minutes of the half. The Dragons would get their final chances on net in the 71
st and 75
th minutes off the feet of 
Jensen Seidel and Lily Johnson. On the defensive end, Sioux Falls could only muster three shots on goal in the final 45 with all three saved by 
Simone Lewald. 
 
Lewald finished the match with a clean sheet and five saves as neither team would find net in 90 minutes.
