About the Dragons

The Dragons (1-8-1, 1-5 NSIC), dropped both of their games last week. They fell to Wayne State 3-0 against a tough Wildcats squad, and then they were edged out by Sioux Falls, 2-0, to close the week. Over the two matches the Dragons put up 20 shots, eight of which were on goal. None of them found the back of the net however, as the shots were often taken from quite a distance away from the net. Dragon keeper Quinn Carter made 18 saves over the two-match span. Both matches were very physical with the Dragons committing 19 fouls and their opponents committing 16 infractions. In the match against Sioux Falls, there were a total of six yellow cards, four on the Cougars and two going against the Dragons. Kraly Walker, Lilly Johnson, Sara Alfrida Munk Nielsen, Blayke Hurley, Marin Hensley, Becca Cook and Madalynn Hopkins all registered a shot on goal during the matches last week.

Through the 10 matches so far this season the Dragons are averaging 5.4 shots per game with a 0.44 shots on goal percentage. Dragon goalkeepers have made 92 saves over the 10-match span.

The Dragons are led by first-year head coach Scott Forster.
