BEMIDJI, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead women's basketball won its sixth consecutive game on Saturday evening in a 64-55 victory over Bemidji State.
Karla Nelson collected her 300th career Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory in the process.

- The Dragons would struggle in the first frame, trailing 16-12 and only shooting 27.7 percent from the floor.
- Two threes from Ashton Safranski early in the second quarter helped give MSUM a 21-20 advantage.
- MSUM would push the lead out to seven points following a basket from Abby Berge and a three from Tori Ratz.
- Safranski would net her third three of the half as time was expiring in the first half, giving MSUM a nine-point halftime lead (34-25).

- A 7-0 run, led by Terryn Johnson, gave the Dragons their biggest lead of the game in 17 points (62-45) late in the fourth quarter.
- MSUM won 64-55 and would not hold a lead below seven points throughout the entire second half.
- Berge scored a game-high 18 points with nine rebounds and three steals.
- Safranski netted 15 points to go along with an impressive four steals.
