MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Sixth-ranked MSU Moorhead men's basketball endured a harsh night on both ends of the floor against 12th-ranked Minot State. The Beavers came to Nemzek Fieldhouse and controlled the game from the opening tip, winning 76-52.

- Minot State would open the game leading 11-4 as Shaun Wysocki would score the first pair of baskets for MSUM.
- A jumper from Jacob Beeninga with seven minutes to play gave MSUM its first (and only) lead of the game, 17-16.
- The Beavers would almost immediately regain control of the scoreboard, building a lead as large as nine points.
- A late 5-0 burst from MSUM, led by a Logan Kinsey triple, helped the Dragons pull to within four points at the break (30-26).
- The Dragons would have the game within three points early in the second half before things went downhill for MSUM.
- Minot State would grow their lead to double figures behind a 9-0 run.
- The Beavers would take advantage of empty Dragon possessions, leading by as many as 28 points late in the contest.
- MSUM shot just 35.3 percent from the floor for the game and were minus-13 in the rebounding column by game's end.
