MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead men's basketball moved up one position to seventh in the weekly National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) poll. The Dragons moved up in the rankings despite being idle in competition last week.
The Dragons commanded 279 points in the poll that was again topped by Nova Southeastern. The Sharks claimed 399 points and 15 first-place votes. Daemen, who was slotted behind the Dragons at eight, earned the other first-place vote.
Other NSIC teams in the poll this week include Minnesota Duluth (11), Southwest Minnesota State (18), Minot State (20), Winona State (RV) and Wayne State (RV).
MSUM is back in action this week as they kick off NSIC play against Northern State on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. inside Nemzek Fieldhouse. The Dragons will take on the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D., on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
