GRAND FORKS, N.D. – In the final regular season indoor meet of the season, MSU Moorhead track & field was led by its pole vault group at the UND Tune-Up. The Dragons sent a small contingent to compete in Grand Forks.
Sprints/Hurdles
In men's 60m dash action both
Isaiah Johnson (7.36) and
Elkan Johnson (7.31) matched their personal bests in the event's preliminaries. In women's 60m hurdles,
Adla Serrao clocked a season best mark of 9.70 to finish 11
th overall.
Jumps/Vaults
Nicholas Huss would place fourth overall in men's pole vault with a top clearance of 13-09.75 (4.21m). For Huss, it is second-best pole vault performance of the season behind his 14-01.72 (4.31m) set at the Bison Open.
Ashley Hokanson would win the women's pole vault competition with a top clearance of 12-06 (3.81m). Hokanson tied the second-place finisher in clearance, but had less failed vaults to claim the victory.

The Dragons will now prepare for the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships which begin on Friday, February 23 in Mankato, Minn.
