SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – MSU Moorhead tennis dropped an NSIC matchup to 26th-ranked Augustana, 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings claimed doubles play with wins at three positions as all three Augie pairings would win by a score 6-1.
Madison Bell and
Tiannah Gu saw their two-match winning streak fall to Senem Ocal and Smilte Bakyte. In singles action,
Luzmary Diaz Castillo gave one of the nation's top players, Florentia Hadjigeorgiou, a run in the second set, but would eventually fall 6-4.
Shaelyn Johnson would battle Ocal in number two singles, but would fall in straight sets following a 6-4 loss in set two.
