MOORHEAD, Minn. – MSU Moorhead athletics congratulates and celebrates its 39 student-athletes that officially earned their degrees as part of MSUM's Spring Commencement ceremony.
The graduates were honored and celebrated at a pair of ceremonies on Friday inside Nemzek Fieldhouse. Two track & field graduates were celebrated at a ceremony on Wednesday, May 8 due to the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships falling on the same day as the traditional Friday pomp.
"I frequently discuss the four walks our student-athletes take during their careers as Dragons. Walking across the graduation stage is the final step in that process and it is the most valuable," said MSUM athletic director Chad Markuson. "These 39 student-athletes have exhibited tremendous grit, heart and humility in their journeys at MSUM and I am so proud of all their accomplishments. Congratulations Dragons on your graduations, our department is incredibly proud of you and your efforts both on the field and in the classroom."
