About the Dragons
The Dragons (0-5-1, 0-2 NSIC), are coming off of two losses in which the Dragons were shut out. They fell to Northern State 3-0, in a match where the Dragons held the Wolves scoreless through the first 35 minutes of play. They tallied 10 shots against the Wolves, which was an improvement on their 4.8 shots per match mark so far this season. Junior forward
Lilly Johnson put a shot on goal for the Dragons as well as freshmen
Kraly Walker and
Becca Cook.
The Dragons then fell to the Marauders of Mary, 4-0 in a match the Marauders were in control of from the start. The Dragons could not hold out against the barrage of Mary shots as the Marauders took 36 shots in the match, 20 of which were on goal. Sophomore midfielder

Scouting Winona State
The Warriors (1-2-1, 0-2 NSIC), lost their two matches last week at the start of conference play. They have only played four matches this season so far, and their one victory came 1-0 in non-conference play against Parkside. Over their first four games of the season, the Warriors have averaged 0.75 goals per game, compared to their opponents' 2.0 goals per game. They do have more corner kicks (18) than their opponents (16), they just haven't been able to convert on the opportunities. A player to watch on the Warriors is senior midfielder Abigail Williams. She has two of the Warriors' three goals, and she also leads them in shots taken with five.
The Warriors are led by first-year head coach Delaney Marier.
Scouting Concordia-St Paul
The Golden Bears (3-1-2, 1-1 NSIC), had a very up and down first week of NSIC play. They started off with a very tough matchup against NSIC favorite Minnesota State and dropped that match 3-0. However, they bounced back in a big way against Winona State winning that match 5-0. On the season, excluding the game against the Mavericks, they have outscored their opponents 11-1. They have also out-shot their opponents, with 9.8 shots per game to 8.2 from their competitors. Their shots on goal percentage is impressive at a mark of 59.3 percent. A player to watch out for on the Golden Bears is senior forward Amaya O'Hearn. She doesn't have the most goals scored, but she does have one goal scored this season. Where she stands out is with her team-best four assists and 372 minutes played.
The Golden Bears are guided by 13th-year head coach Steve Bellis.
