JaMir Price and
Jacob Jennissen to help defeat Augustana in NSIC action on Friday evening. The Dragons defeated the Vikings in overtime, 89-80.

- True to form, both teams would battle one another in the opening 20 minutes with neither team holding an advantage larger than four points.
- Six early points from Jacob Jennissen got the Dragons started and eventually pushed them to a 17-13 lead midway through the period.
- Augustana would tie the score several times throughout the remainder of the half, but would not hold a lead through 20 minutes.
- The Dragons led 34-33 at the break with Jennissen scoring six points. JaMir Price would own the latter stages of the half, seemingly scoring at will.
- Price finished the first half with 13 points, including a made three-pointer.
- MSUM would come out hot in the second half, draining three triples thanks to Logan Kinsey, Sam Hastreiter and Jennissen.
- The barrage would put the Dragons up double figures, 45-35 early in the second half.
- The Vikings would answer back, tying the contest at 51 points midway through the second half.
- Price would pace the Dragons throughout the Viking rally, but Augie would eventually secure a three-point lead with five minutes to play.

- Trailing by three points with under a minute to play, Kinsey scored while being fouled to even the count at 70 points, pushing the contest into overtime.
- Overtime's opening tip was the momentum shift as the ball was tipped to an open Kinsey, who coasted to the rim for a thunderous slam.
- MSUM controlled the extra session, outscoring the Vikings 19-10 to win 89-80.
- Price finished with a Dragon career-high of 29 points with Jennissen scoring 18 points with a career-high 14 rebounds and five blocked shots.
