| By:
MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead soccer will take to the road this week for a pair of NSIC matches. The Dragons are set to take on UMary on Friday at 1 p.m. before battling Minot State on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Live video and stats will be available at msumdragons.com. Moorhead is coming off the final home weekend of the 2025 season, dropping matches to St. Cloud State and Minnesota State.

Downtown Brooklyn...Redshirt senior Brooklyn Broderick scored her third goal of the 2025 season on Friday against St. Cloud State. The Kannapolis, N.C., native booted a long ball that ended up flying over the head of the Husky keeper. With her three goals this season, Broderick is tied for the team lead with freshman Ana Cecilia Walker.

Carter On The Move...Senior goalkeeper Quinn Carter made seven saves on Sunday against Minnesota State, moving her career total to 225 saves. Carter is one of eight players in program history to accrue 200 or more saves in a career. The Mandan, N.D., native needs 24 saves to pass Andrea Pearson for the sixth-most saves all-time in a Dragon career. Carter has also played the sixth-most minutes by a goalkeeper in MSUM history (2483).

Trusting The Truslow...Senior goalkeeper Rylee Truslow made 17 saves across two matches for MSUM last weekend, highlighted by a 10-save effort against St. Cloud State. Truslow has made a team-high 81 saves so far this season with her career total (between Moorhead and Bluefield State) standing at 251 saves.

Minute Markers...The Dragons now have four players who have logged over 1,000 minutes this season in Mary Cox, Lizzy Jaraczeski, Lilly Allen and Lilly Johnson. Jaraczeski leads the roster with 1,283 minutes played with Cox not far behind at 1,236. Both players are poised to enter the top ten all-time in the category as well. The senior Johnson has tallied 3,347 minutes played in her career at MSUM.

Peppering The Mavericks...The Dragons showed strong offensive play in Sunday's match against second-ranked Minnesota State, logging 18 total shots with five registered on goal. The output for Moorhead is the fourth-most shots in a match this season. MSUM had 24 total shots against Minnesota Crookston on September 12.

Scott Forster is in his second season as MSUM's head soccer coach.
