MOORHEAD, Minn. – Minnesota State Moorhead women's basketball announced the signing of two student-athletes. Both new signees will join the Dragons ahead of the 2026-27 season. 
 
"We are proud to announce the signing of Aria & Jenna, who are two outstanding student-athletes & even better people," said MSUM head coach Karla Nelson. "These two are very excited to wear the Dragon uniform and we feel they are great fits on our team and on campus. We are happy to finally welcome Aria & Jenna to the Dragon family!"
 
Aria Garrett, Center (6-1, Moorhead, Minn. – Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton HS)
 
A three-time all-conference honoree for Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School…was also voted a team captain her sophomore and junior seasons…has scored over 1,000 points in her prep career, entering her senior season with 1,295 points…also has 921 career rebounds with the Rebels…holds a career high of 34 points and 16 rebounds…also competed in volleyball and track & field where she was a multi-time all-conference honoree in both…daughter of Nicole and Robert Garrett…plans to major in exercise science.
 
What Coach Nelson Says…
Aria is a back to the basket post player with a ton of potential. She fits our style of play and we feel she has great hands and feet. She is only scratching the surface in her development on both ends of the floor and we believe we can develop her into a very strong post presence in the NSIC. It is also great to have her continue her college career in her hometown!
 
Jenna Miller, Guard (5-7, Dell Rapids, S.D. – St. Mary HS)
 
A three-time all-conference honoree at St Mary High School in Dell Rapids, S.D., including a first team nod as a junior…was voted her team's offensive and defensive MVP as a junior…has scored 951 career points entering her senior season with a career-high of 33 points…has over 200 career steals in her prep campaign…averaging 15 points, four assists, four rebounds and four steals per game for her career…also competed in track & field and volleyball…daughter of Tara and Steve Miller…plans to major in elementary education.
 
What Coach Nelson Says…
Jenna is a combo guard who brings a whole lot of grittiness to the floor. She will be able to play multiple positions, which is very valuable to us. She has a good mix to her game on being able to shoot from the arc to attacking the rim. She is an extreme competitor who absolutely wanted to be a Dragon and we value that tremendously.
