BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead redshirt junior guard Dominic Gooden was announced as the NSIC North Division Player of the Week on Monday. The honor comes following a pair of stellar performances from Gooden at the East-West Shootout.

- Averaged 29 points and 2.5 rebounds in two wins at the East-West Shootout
- Scored 43 points on 75 percent (12-16) shooting in a victory over No. 17 Black Hills State
- Connected on six three-pointers against BHSU while also sinking 13 of 14 foul shots
- His 43 points were the seventh-most in a single game in MSUM history
- Netted 15 points and three assists in a win over South Dakota Mines on Saturday
- Shot 68 percent (17-25) from the floor for the weekend, including a 66.6 percent (8-12) clip from long range

MSUM is in for a busy week as they host Minnesota Crookston tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. before taking on Southwest Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul this weekend.
