Zoe Bjerke have been named the Minnesota State Moorhead Athletes of the Month presented by Buffalo Wild Wings for the month of October 2025.
Gregoire enjoyed a strong month of October on his quest for an NCAA Cross Country Championships berth. The redshirt sophomore opened the month as MSUM's top finisher at the Jimmie Invite, finishing 13th overall. Gregoire clocked an 8k time of 25:23.3 for the overall placement on October 3. The month would really take off for the Buffalo, Minn., native at the NSIC Cross Country Championships on October 24. Gregoire would capture his first NSIC Cross Country Championship, winning the 8k race behind a time of 24:58. He became the first MSUM individual conference champion since 2005 while also earning All-NSIC First Team honors. With his finish at the conference meet, Gregoire was also named the NSIC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Year.
Bjerke has been a major highlight for Dragon swimming & diving as they began their regular season competitions in October. As part of MSUM's first meet against the University of Jamestown, Bjerke marked a second-place finish in 1-meter action behind an NCAA provisional score of 250.62. Bjerke would go on to dominate the remainder of the month, winning four consecutive events for Moorhead. On October 18 against Northern State, Bjerke won the 1-meter dive with a score of 232.40 and would also win 3-meter diving with a mark of 244.40. To round out her month, Bjerke collected two more wins against Sioux Falls on October 24. The Valley City, N.D., native scored a 221.40 in 1-meter action before scoring a 254.40 in the high dive. The 3-meter score for Bjerke is the third-best six-dive score in program history.
