ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Minnesota State Moorhead wrestling saw victories from Pedro Velazquez and Parker Benz in a Thursday night dual with 13^th-ranked St. Cloud State. The Huskies defeated the Dragons, 37-6. 
 
Pedro Velazquez would back up his newly minted national ranking on Thursday evening at 141 pounds. Velazquez would collect his seventh win of the season thanks to a 7-3 decision over Jayce Luna. The victory for the senior helped cut into St. Cloud State's overall lead, making the team score 8-3 in favor of the Huskies. 
 
At 149 pounds, Parker Benz would secure a huge win for Moorhead to bring the score even closer. Benz claimed a high-scoring affair with Jereon Smith, 15-13. The Bismarck, N.D., native collected his second win of the season with the effort. After the Benz victory, MSUM trailed 8-6. 
 
St. Cloud State would control the dual from there, winning the remaining weights to earn a 37-6 team victory.
