INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – MSU Moorhead junior sprinter
Shavantae Roberts reset her own school record and qualified for Saturday's finals in the 60m. Roberts clocked the time in Thursday's preliminaries at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Roberts finished fourth in her heat with a 7.40 time, improving on her previous school record of 7.42. The Abaco, Bahamas, native clinched the finals spot based on time, placing seventh overall in preliminary action.
Roberts also secured First Team All-America status in the event thanks to the prelim performance. The junior will compete in the event finals on Saturday beginning at 1:45 p.m.
