MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead track & field will send three competitors to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships which kick off on Thursday and wrap Saturday in Pueblo, Colo.
Shavantae Roberts (100m),
Jasiah Hambira (high jump) and
Jaiden Peraza (high jump) will be the Dragons competing.

Roberts is set to compete in the 100m dash after securing a school record mark of 11.42 in the race's preliminaries at the NSIC Outdoor Championships. The time stands as the 14
th-fastest mark in NCAA Division II this season. This will be Roberts' second opportunity to run the 100m at the national meet after qualifying last season. Roberts was named a USTFCCA All-Region performer in the 100m this season after possessing the Central Region's third-fastest time. The 100m dash preliminaries will be ran on Thursday, May 22 beginning at 7:10 p.m. CT. Finals for the event will take place Saturday, May 24 at 7:40 p.m.
Peraza and Hambira qualified in the high jump with both student-athletes offering up a top clearance of 6-10.25 (2.09m). The mark for Hambira is a new personal best with both heights being the best in the Northern Sun this season. Peraza enters the national meet fresh off an NSIC championship in the event at last weekend's conference meet. Men's high jump will be contested on Saturday, May 24 at 5:45 p.m. CT.
