Jaiden Peraza have been named United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) All-Central Region. Gregoire earned the honor in both the mile and 800m while Peraza collected his marks in the high jump.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.
Gregoire ranked third in the Central Region in the 800m behind his season best mark of 1:51.84 (converted 1:50.27) set at the Bison Team Cup on January 17. The Buffalo, Minn., native ranked fourth in the region in the mile run with a school record time of 4:00.37. Peraza was fourth in the Central Region in high jump, clearing 7-0.25 (2.14m) at the Bison Open on February 6.
Gregoire (mile) and Peraza (high jump) will compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships beginning this Friday in Virginia Beach, Va.
