MOORHEAD, Minn. – Minnesota State Moorhead athletics congratulates 57 student-athletes on their graduation day. The university held its Spring Commencement ceremony inside Nemzek Fieldhouse on Friday afternoon.
"This is one of our biggest graduating classes in recent memory and that brings me so much joy and happiness. It proves that each of these student-athletes has successfully navigated life in the field of competition and in the classroom," said MSUM athletic director
Chad Markuson. "That level of work ethic and drive will allow you to shine in your next walk of life. Congratulations to our student-athlete graduates and thank you for keeping the promise: 'I will graduate!'"
Due to this weekend's NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, some student-athletes were unable to attend Friday's ceremony. Track & field student-athletes were celebrated at a department-run event on Wednesday, which included the pomp and circumstance of a traditional graduation ceremony.
