MOORHEAD, Minn. – Minnesota State Moorhead athletics and athletic director
Chad Markuson announced that 277 student-athletes have been named to the department's AD Honor Roll for Spring 2026.
The honorees are included in the attached document. Eligible student-athletes must earn a GPA of at least 3.25 for that semester, or a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while completing a minimum of 9 graded credits (
(Students in their final semester or not enrolled full-time only need to meet the GPA requirements).
In total, 77 student-athletes held a 4.0 Spring 2026 GPA while 18 have maintained a cumulative 4.0 GPA. Of the 368 total student-athletes in the department, 212 earned a 3.5 GPA in Spring 2026 (58%). 255 student-athletes earned at least a 3.25 GPA in Spring 2026 (69%) while 289 athletes earned at least a 3.0 GPA in Spring 2026 (79%).
Additionally, the department posted the highest-ever semester GPA in Spring 2026 (3.43) while also bolstering the best-ever cumulative GPA for an academic year (3.429). Women's golf led the MSUM women's programs with a 3.83 team GPA. Men's basketball led the Dragon men's sports, holding a 3.42 mark for the semester. All 14 of Moorhead's athletic teams secured a 3.0 team GPA or higher in Spring 2026.
