NACMA Marketing Team of the Year Finalists

MSUM Earns 18 National Marketing and Communications Honors from NACMA and CSC

MSUM STUDENTS RANK BEST IN THE NATION IN CSC COLLEGE DIVISION // MSUM EARNS 13 NACMA 'BEST OF' AWARDS AND MARKETING TEAM OF THE YEAR FINALIST HONOR

LAS VEGAS - At its 2026 convention from June 7-10, the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) announced that Vanderbilt UniversityDePaul University, and Grand Valley State University earned the Marketing Team of the Year Award for their respective groups.
 
Vanderbilt edged the University of Maryland and Virginia Tech for Group I honors while DePaul beat out Creighton University and Southeast Missouri State University in Group II. Grand Valley State took home the award in Group III over Minnesota State University Moorhead and West Texas A&M University.
 
Award submissions that earned gold, silver and bronze placements in the Revenue Generation, Brand Management and Fan Development categories were given five points, three points and one point, respectively. Submissions that earned gold, silver and bronze placements in the "Best in Class" categories were given nine points, six points and three points, respectively. The institutions in Groups I, II, and III with the most total points earned were named the Marketing Team of the Year in that group.

The Marketing Team of the Year Award was created by NACMA to show not only the significant impact a marketing team has on the athletics department, but on the campus and surrounding community.

2025-26 NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGIATE MARKETING ADMINISTRATORS AWARDS - FULL GO! TEAM AWARDS HISTORY
The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has selected its 2025-26 "Best Of" award winners who were announced to the membership during the NACMA Convention on June 8th, 2026. Initiated in 2003, the NACMA "Best Of" Awards program, sponsored by VenueEdge, honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 20 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness. Group I is NCAA Division I FBS institutions, Group II is Division I FCS institutions, and Group III is all DII, DIII, NAIA, and Junior Colleges.  The Marketing Team of the Year Award for Group III began in 2023.

Content creators for Designer, Photographer, and Videographer of the Year announced live at CSC Unite 2026

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The College Sports Communicators Creative & Digital Design Contest announced its contest winners and full list of results for the 2025-26 edition of the contest Wednesday afternoon following the Special Events Luncheon on the final day of CSC Unite 2026 at the Mandalay Bay Resort.

"On behalf of myself, Vice Chair Malloreigh Yingling, Executive Board Liaison Brent Ingram and CSC Director of Communications and Brand Strategy Beau White as well as contest administers Andy DeVitoAmanda PhillpsDonnie Smith and Jacob Walton, I want to congratulate all the individuals recognized in the results of the 2025-26 CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest," said contest chair Patrick Murphy of the Colorado School of Mines. "Once again, this contest continues to be the premier opportunity in our industry to recognize the creativity, innovation and talent of the CSC membership, and showcase the best our profession has to offer in the content creation space as decided by their peers."

For the third consecutive year, the contest set a record for participation with an 18.7% increase from the previous year with a total of 2,565 entries. 980 entries came from the University Division while 1,585 entries came from College Division institutions. 14 of the 17 contest categories saw an increase in participation year over year, while the Portfolio Contests combined for 173 entries. Over the last three years, the contest has experienced an overall increase of nearly 170% from 957 entries in 2023-24.
