MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's soccer team will host two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opponents this weekend to begin a three-game homestand. MSUM will face Upper Iowa at noon on Saturday and will conclude the weekend against Winona State at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Dragons are 2-9 all-time against Upper Iowa, while they are 6-19 all-time against Winona State.
The Dragons are coming off a weekend that saw them lose a 1-0 double overtime contest to Concordia St. Paul before they lost 3-0 to Minnesota State Mankato. The Dragons are led this season by
Jessica Dallman, who has two goals and two assists.
Jenai DeNardo has one goal and two assists while
Marie Griffith,
Maren Soupirm
Kendall Schauer, and
Lindsey Brownell each have one goal for the Dragons.
The top goalkeeper for MSUM is senior
Corina Edgington, who has started eight games this season, playing 779 minutes while recording 62 saves. Senior
Reagan VonBerge has started four games, making 31 saves. Edgington leads the NSIC in saves per game.

Christie Kopietz, who is in her second season as the head coach. She is assisted by

About the Peacocks
Upper Iowa enters the weekend with a 3-9-1 overall record, and a 3-7-1 conference record. They are coming off a 2-0 loss to UMary and a 3-1 loss to Minot State. The top goal scorer for the Peacocks is Jordyn Ostrowski, who has four goals this season. Their top goalkeeper is Calla Petrie, who has made 72 saves in 13 games. The head coach is James Price, who is in his second season at the helm.
About the Warriors
The Warriors enter the weekend with a 7-6-1 overall record and a 6-4-1 conference mark. Prior to facing MSUM, they will face off with Northern State University on Saturday.
