FARGO, N.D. — A sweep of the doubles matches helped the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team earn a 7-2 win over Bemidji State in action Saturday at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D. With the win

MSUM clinched a berth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference tournament which will be played in April.
MSUM is now 12-2 overall and 7-1 in the NSIC while Bemidji State fell to 6-4 overall and 4-4 in the NSIC.
The Dragons honored their lone senior,
Ricquel Ramsbottom, prior to the match. She transferred to MSUM as a sophomore and is 29-18 in singles matches during her three years as a Dragon.
MSUM, which has won four in a row, won the doubles matches by a combined 24-10 score.
"I can't stress how pleased I am with our doubles, every time!" MSUM head coach
Oliver Summers said. "It's so nice to get off to that 3-0 start. Olivia had a great comeback to clinch the match for us."
At No. 1 doubles, MSUM freshman
Julia Geske and sophomore
Olivia Keelin beat Zoe Lindgren and Ariadna Lopez-Slmo, 8-4. The Dragons won 8-3 at No. 2 doubles as freshman
Swenne Albert and sophomore
Alexis Konecne beat Hannah Alme and Brooke Mimmack. Ramsbottom and sophomore
Emma Zamora completed the sweep for MSUM, taking down Breann Walsh and Jacki Damberg 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.
The Dragons were 4-2 in singles. MSUM lost at No. 3 and No.4 singles, both in three-set super tiebreakers.
Geske dominated Lindgren, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Keelin rallied from a one-set deficit to defeat Lopez-Slmo, 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 at No. 2 singles.
Ramsbottom beat Walsh, 6-1, 6-4 at No. 5 singles while Konecne beat Rachel Will, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6 to help the MSUM win.
MSUM hosts Minnesota Crookston at 9 a.m. on Sunday to wrap the weekend.
