MOORHEAD, Minn. – Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis coach Oliver Summers has announced Jalyn Kornblum of Riverside, Calif., has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her athletic and academic career at MSUM starting this fall.

Kornblum competes at Riverside Virtual School.

She has a career record of 136-33. She was 49-12 in 2015 and 41-10 in 2016. She is a three-time all-league selection and a two-time Riverside Poly HS Singles player of the Year. Kornblum is part of three-time Inland Valley League Champions.

"I'm excited to add Jalyn to our team for fall of 2018," Summers said.  "She has competed in some of the top level tournaments in California, and is already an accomplished tennis player. She'll be a great fit for the team and will make an immediate impact. She wants to help to bring this team to the next level, and brings with her a great attitude and work ethic."

Kornblum joins Rachel Nguyen of Westminster, Colo., and Emma Andersen of Santa Ana, Calif., as Dragon signees for 2018-19.
