MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team will face a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foes this week when they take on St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth.
The match versus St. Cloud State will begin on Friday at 5 p.m. with the match against Minnesota Duluth to follow on Saturday at 11 a.m. The teams will play at the STA-FIT Tennis Center in Sartell, Minn.
MSUM is 12-3 overall and 8-1 in the NSIC after a 7-0 win over U-Mary last week. The Dragons trail Augustana by one game in the conference standings.

Lorissa Yuen is 10-2 in singles while freshman

Julia Geske boasts a 10-4 singles record while juniors
Olivia Keelin and
Alexis Konecne each have nine wins on the year. As a team MSUM is 64-24 (.727) in singles play.
Geske teams up with Keelin for a 12-3 record at No. 1 doubles. Juniors
Emma Wood and Konecne have a 9-3 doubles record. As a team MSUM is 33-12 (.733) in doubles play this season.
Oliver Summers is in his seventh season as the MSUM head coach.
About St. Cloud State
The Huskies are 5-9 overall and 2-6 in the NSIC. Last week SCSU fell to College of Saint Benedict 2-5. Jill Kedrowski is 9-2 in singles to lead the team. Olivia Fredrickson is 7-5 in singles while Fernanda Morais Quintino Dossantos is 7-6 at No. 1 singles. SCSU is 36-45 (.444) in singles matches this season. Quintino dos Santos and Kedrowski have a 9-4 record at No. 1 doubles. The Huskies are 18-24 (.429) in doubles play this season. MSUM defeated SCSU 7-2 last season.
About Minnesota Duluth
The Bulldogs are 8-2 overall and 5-2 in the NSIC. UMD has not played a match since March 3
rd when they defeated Sioux Falls 4-2. Natalie Cahill has a 9-1 record at No. 3 singles while Isabel Thiner is 8-1 at No. 6 singles. Ally Tiedemann is 7-1 at No. 5 singles. UMD is 38-18 (.679) in singles this season. Cahill and Sophie Lynch have a 6-2 record at No. 2 doubles. The Bulldogs are 14-16 (.467) in doubles this season. MSUM defeated UMD 6-3 last season.
