ORLANDO, Fla. — Freshman
Emma Andersen's third-set tiebreaker win clinched the victory for the Minnesota State University Moorhead women's tennis team as the Dragons topped Seton Hill, 4-3, in non conference action Tuesday evening in Orlando, Fla.
MSUM is now 10-2 on the season. Seton Hill fell to 4-5.
"The tiebreaks really won this match," MSUM head coach
Oliver Summers said. "Our squad was kind of depleted through injury, illness and food poisoning but we pulled through on our reserves. It was such great work and we're glad for the off day on Wednesday."
The Dragons earned the team doubles point (winner of at least two doubles matches earns that point) winning at No. 1 and No. 3. Sophomore

Olivia Keelin won a hard-fought match at No. 1 for MSUM, beating Jenna Bailey and Kaelyn Zak, 7-6. At No. 3 junior

Jalyn Kornblum won, 6-0 over Seton Hill's Kait Watch and Abby Herman.
Each team won three singles matches. Andersen outlasted Abby Herman, 6-2, 4-6, 10-4 (super tiebreak) to win at No. 6 to clinch the win for MSUM. Geske rolled past Bailey, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 for MSUM while Keelin outlasted Ana Salazar, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6 at No. 4.
MSUM's match vs. North Carolina Wesleyan which was scheduled for earlier in the day was rained out and will not be rescheduled.
MSUM has an off day on Wednesday and will face Missouri Western at 2 p.m. Central time on Thursday.
