MOORHEAD, Minn. — Cross country runners Aislin Anderson and Drew Mears have been named the Minnesota State University Moorhead Athletes of the Week presented by Buffalo Wild Wings for the Week of Oct. 4-10.

A freshman from Bismarck, Anderson recorded the first top 10 of her cross country career at the Jimmie Invite on Friday in Jamestown. She finished 10th with a 5K time of 19:28.3 and helped the Dragon women to a third-place finish at the meet.

A senior from West Fargo, Mears led the Dragon men at the Jimmie Invite. Mears finished a season-best 13th, running a time of 27:29.5 in the men's 8K.
