MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead softball team is back in action at home on Wednesday when it hosts Minnesota Crookston for a nonconference doubleheader. The twin bill begins at 1 p.m. at Scheels Field at Nemzek Stadium.
There is no charge for fans to attend Wednesday's games but those planning to attend are asked to fill out the form HERE.
The Dragons are 2-8 on the year while Minnesota Crookston is 2-10.
MSUM will look to rebound after being swept by Mayville State on Saturday. Junior outfielder Shay Weber went 3-for-6 on the day to pace the Dragons.
Junior outfielder Jordey Smith is hitting .316 with two RBI for MSUM. Junior infielder Samantha Gjerde is hitting .296 with a team-best four RBI. Junior outfielder Ally Helgoe has a homer and three RBI.
On the mound junior Anna Lang is 1-4 with a 6.30 ERA while freshman Reece Dahl is 1-4 with a 6.46 ERA.
Amanda Reckamp is in her third season as the MSUM head coach.
