MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead softball team wraps up the home part of its season this weekend with a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheaders. MSUM hosts No. 18 Minnesota State on Saturday at 1 p.m. and follows by hosting Concordia-St. Paul at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Sunday will be Senior Day as Dragon seniors Emma Dummer and Elizabeth Johnson will be honored that day. The doubleheaders this weekend are the final home games for MSUM in 2021.
Senior Emma Dummer became MSUM's all-time leader in doubles during the Bemidji State/UMC weekend. She now has 36, breaking the previous mark of 33. She is also MSUM's all-time leader in games played and started.
Dummer leads MSUM with a .333 average; she has a team-best eight doubles and a team-best 14 RBI. Junior outfielder Shay Weber is hitting .296 and leads with eight stolen bases.
Junior Anna Lang is 3-15 with a 6.10 ERA on the mound while freshman Reece Dahl is 4-12 with a 7.32 ERA. She has two shutouts.
Amanda Reckamp is in her third season as the MSUM head coach.

About Minnesota State
Minnesota State is 28-7 on the season. The Mavericks enter the week on an eight-game hitting streak. Torey Richards is hitting .430 with 11 RBI for MSU while Hannah McCarville is hitting .414 with four homers and 33 RBI. As a team the Mavericks are hitting .332 with 21 homers on the season. Mackenzie Ward is 16-3 with a 0.93 ERA on the mound. She has six shutouts. Lori Meyer is in her 37th season as the Minnesota State head coach with a record of 1,247-690.
About Concordia-St. Paul
Concordia-St. Paul is 20-16 overall and 14-8 in the NSIC. The Golden Bears split with Bemidji State on Sunday in their last action. Grace Beseman is hitting .368 with eight homers and 33 RBI while Clara Heislen is hitting .328 with five homers and 18 RBI. CSP is hitting .297 as a team. On the mound Kali Kaestner is 9-6 with a 2.62 ERA on the mound. Bob Bartel is in his 16th season as the CSP head coach with a record of 461-395.
