MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead volleyball announced the signing of two more student-athletes to their 2023 signing class. Both setter Karlee Luneckas and libero McKenna Crews have committed to the Dragons for this coming fall season.
Meet The Signees
Karlee Luneckas - Setter (Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Lisbon High School) - Totaled 345 assists and 107 kills as a senior for Lisbon High School in Cedar Rapids. Started in all 33 matches with 85 sets played as a senior, tallying 181 digs, 33 aces and a 90.5 percent serving efficiency. Helped lead Lisbon High School to a state tournament berth and was an all-conference selection. Was also a three-time state qualifying golfer at Lisbon High School where she was also an all-state and all-conference performer. Competed for the Adrenaline Volleyball Academy for six years. Plans to major in biology.

"Karlee is a setter from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, that we are excited to have join the Dragon family. Karlee is a great leader with a calm presence. She has great court sense and a high volleyball IQ which really maximizes the success of her hitters."
McKenna Crews - Libero (Loveland, Colo. - Thompson Valley High School - McCook Community College) - Has played the last two seasons for McCook Community College in McCook, Neb. Played in 61 matches for the Indians with 221 career sets played at the school. Tallied 669 career digs at McCook and was named a Region 9 Second Team performer as team captain in 2022. Was also named to the NJCA All-Academic Third Team while at McCook. Was team captain for four years while at Thompson Valley High School, garnering all-conference honors. Had 540 digs, 86 aces and 57 assists in 167 sets played for Thompson Valley. Plans to major in veterinary sciences.

"McKenna is a recent addition to our program from McCook Community College. Her serve receive and defense will elevate our back court play significantly. McKenna's competitiveness and hard work ethic will be contagious to the rest of the team. We are excited to have her join the Dragon family!"
