MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead golf is set to conclude the fall portion of the 2025-26 season on Monday and Tuesday as part of the USF Invitational. Tee times from Grand Falls Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa, are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Monday morning. 

Live results will be available at msumdragons.com. Moorhead has not competed since the EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invitational on September 27-28. At the tournament, MSUM placed 11th as a team with a 36-hole score of 695, including a 17-stroke improvement from day one to day two. 

On day one of the tournament, senior Halle Balluff would card a strong 81 through her first 18 holes. Balluff's round included seven pars as well as a pair of birdies. The Moorhead, Minn., native earned one-under scores on the par five seventh holes and the par four 15th hole at Marshall Golf Club. The seventh hole birdie landed despite the yardage spanning over 500. Adi Houkom would turn in an 88 to follow Balluff as the true freshman would hole five pars and a pair of birdies. Houkom earned her birdies on a pair of par fours in the third and 17th holes. Aspen Beyer would pencil in a 93 on her scorecard on day one in a round that offered up six pars. Regan Braun would close out the scoring portion of MSUM's day, marking a 94 overall. Braun's round featured a trio of even scores. Karlee Luneckas would turn in a 97 through 18 holes, including four pars. 

Day two would see the Dragons improve by 17 strokes, led by Beyer who would shine for the Dragons, shooting an 81 overall and moving up 14 positions on the individual leaderboard. Beyer was strong all day, carding eight pars and a pair of birdies. The sophomore earned even marks on three straight holes to wrap the front nine at Marshall Golf Club. Beyer earned one-under scores on the par three 10th hole and the par four 13th hole. Balluff would finish a stroke back of Beyer on the second day, shooting an 82 with nine pars. Balluff also earned three straight pars on the sixth, seventh and eighth holes. 

Luneckas would enter the scoring on day two for Moorhead, shooting an 87 overall. The 10-stroke improvement from Luneckas was paced by two pars and a birdie on the par four fifth hole. Houkom would close the scoring contingent for the Dragons, carding an 89 with seven pars. Braun would shoot an identical 89 for MSUM with seven pars and a birdie. Braun earned three straight pars on the 12th, 13th and 14th holes while holing the birdie on the par five seventh hole.
