BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Minnesota State Moorhead golf saw the 2025-26 season end in historic fashion at the NSIC Championships on Friday. The Dragons finished in 12
th place as a team with a 54-hole school record score of 1066.
The Dragons reset a school record that has stood since the 2009-10 season. At that year's NSIC Championships in Brandon, S.D., Moorhead shot a 54-hole total of 1079. This season's squad bested that mark by 13 strokes. MSUM marked a 361 cumulative score in the final 18 holes of competition on Friday.
In the final round of her collegiate career,
Halle Balluff would pace the Dragons with an 87 overall. The senior holed six pars and a birdie on the par-four sixth hole at Adams Pointe Golf Club, which spanned 331 yards. Balluff would conclude her career with an even score on the par-five 10
th hole that stretched a whopping 475 yards.
Sophomore
Aspen Beyer would finish a stroke off Balluff on day three, carding an 88. Beyer was consistent in the round, holing a total of eight pars. This included a trio of consecutive pars on the sixth, seventh and eighth holes.
Regan Braun would finish her final round with a 92, which featured five pars and a birdie. Braun collected one-under marks on the par-four first hole.
True freshman
Adi Houkom concluded the scoring contingent for the Dragons, penciling a 94 overall. Houkom had four pars in her round, including consecutive even scores on the first and second holes.
Kamryn Wesloh would finish a shot back of Houkom, notching a 95. Wesloh had six pars and a birdie on the par-five second hole that spanned 453 yards.
